Palo Alto Men’s Golf Club

The PAGC is a traditional golf club with 350 men and women members who enjoy the benefits of belonging to a group of dedicated players and to the Northern California Golf Association. Being a part of the club includes membership in the NCGA and a GHIN Index number for posting scores and tracking your index (handicap) NCGA members also enjoy discounts on green fees at its two courses, Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach and Poppy Ridge in Livermore.

PAGC plays over 20 tournaments a year including away events at Poppy Hills, Poppy Ridge, and many of the other fine courses in the area. Tournaments offer prizes to the top finishers and are played in multiple flights so you will be competing against golfers with similar skills. Once each year, we hold our Invitational Tournament where you can invite a friend from another club to be your partner. Along with prizes for best team scores, the competition includes tee prizes, awards for longest drive and closest to the pin, and a buffet lunch. Many people simply enjoy the close friendships made over they years with their fellow golfers. We have members who have been participating for over 30 years and who are still going strong well into their 80s.

Palo Alto Senior Men’s Club

Our club thrives on camaraderie and friendly competition. Membership is for men 60 years of age or older who reside on the Peninsula. You must be able to shoot a score of 108 or less from the red tees at least once in one of five member-accompanied rounds. Knowing a few golf jokes is not a requirement, but it won’t hurt. Membership dues are $25 per year and members should play five times per quarter to maintain active status. We field an average of 8 foursomes per week on this long (but honest) course. Rounds are played on Monday mornings starting at 7:30am. Various prizes, contest, and tournament honors are available during the year. Membership is divided into four flights of handicap. If you’d like to work on your golf game while enjoying good friends, come out and join us.
